Heart of Texas Unemployment Rate Jumps to 4.3%

Bosque county recorded the lowest unemployment rate (4%), followed by McLennan (4.2%), Hill (4.6%) and Limestone (5%). Freestone’s rate remained the highest at 6%. The Heart of Texas unemployment rate is above the state’s (4.2%) and above the national unemployment rate (3.9%).
