Board of Directors

Serving the six county Heart of Texas region, the Heart of Texas Workforce Development Board, Inc. is the local board of directors for Workforce Solutions.  The Board is comprised of members appointed by the chief elected officials and approved by the Governor of Texas.  The Board is business-led and community focused, with approximately 25 members representing private sector business, education, organized labor, community-based organizations, and government.

With participation from the region’s chief local elected officials, the Workforce Board sets the strategic direction for the regional workforce system and guides the area’s workforce agenda.
