Youth Services
Workforce Solutions offers young people in-school and out-of-school, aged 16-24, a wealth of opportunities to get their future started on the right foot through our Youth Services program. In addition, foster youth receive priority of service.

Career Assessment
Not quite sure what careers interest you? Want to see how much money it takes to live these days? Get a reality check. It’s a lot more expensive than you think. Be prepared, and plan ahead!
Job Corps
Job Corps is a free education and training program that helps young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find or keep a good job. For eligible young people ages 16 through 24 that qualify as low income, Job Corps provides the all-around skills needed to succeed in a career and in life. Workforce Solutions Training Grants support training for some of the region’s high-skill, high-growth occupations. If you’re interested in one of these careers, we may be able to contribute to a financial aid package.
Individuals must meet eligibility requirements to qualify for a training grant. Eligibility requirements may vary based on program and funding sources. Learn more here.

Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas provides additional assistance and services to support youth in meeting their educational and/or career goals.
