April 2023 Labor Market News Release

Bosque County recorded the lowest unemployment rate (3.3%), followed by McLennan (3.5%), Hill (3.6%), Falls (3.9%), and Limestone (4.2%). Freestone’s rate remained the highest at 4.7%. The 3.6% unemployment rate for the region was below Texas’ (3.7%), and above the national rate (3.1%).
